What to look for in a succesful advertising campaign?
Design it around your customer, don't re-use something that may well be ineffective. It's a common mistake to create generic ads that don't "speak the language" or "grab" your potential customer.
Always highlight your competitve advantage - accentuate the pros of your company, those factors which will give your company a competitve edge. Don't try to be too clever with your ads, keep it simple so that the message your giving is understood.
Establish an image and develop your brand. Image counts when advertising, eveything from the colours used in your advert through to the layout and how you incorporate your logo/brand identity.
Monitor your ads - Do you see the printed finished copy in the newspaper or magazine? If not, why not - It's your business that could be effected if your ad isn't exactly how you imagined.
