Green Fingers Turn To Gold
Crûg Farm Plants has an outstanding and unrivalled selection of plants, located in one of the most beautiful areas of North Wales. For those of you who visit the nursery you will have the opportunity to stroll though our small woodland garden where you will see many of our shade loving introductions growing.
Many of the plants you will see are new - not seen in cultivation before. Do not worry if you do not recognise them as help is at hand. They have yet to meet anybody who can walk through the garden and recognise everything they see! At any time of year you will find something of interest to tempt you. Most of the plants are labelled with good size labels so you will not have to get down on your hands and knees to read them.
When you have been tempted by your new findings, make your way to the intimate sales area and spend some time browsing and reading Bleddyn’s informative and humorous descriptions. They will help you make your selection of plants and they are always on hand to help with any queries you may have. You will not go away disappointed. As Roy Lancaster said after his first visit “I left reluctantly with one thought in my head; if heaven is like this, here’s hoping.”
Just like Indiana Jones, Sue & Bleddyn are intrepid explorers eager to discover new plants to bring back to Wales on one of their plant hunting expeditions.
Sue & Bleddyn have come back from the RHS London Plant & Design Show where they picked up a highly sort after Gold Medal.
"It was very gratifying to be awarded a gold medal at this years RHS spring show in London. Edward Elves was pressed ganged to come out of retirement to help us put the display together. His experience was invaluable and assisted us greatly.
